Pacific Shine Window Cleaning

Pacific Shine Window Cleaning is a student-owned window-cleaning business founded by Lucas Froeming. We are located in Santa Cruz, California, and we offer a wide range of services, including interior and exterior window cleaning, gutter cleaning, solar panel cleaning, and cobweb removal.

This company began in early 2023. We started with extremely basic equipment from a local hardware store. Started getting work by going door to door and messaging people over NextDoor who were looking for recommendations. Work was not happening often, and it was more of a side business than anything.​

In 2024, we changed our mindset. We decided to switch almost everything, starting with professionalism. We sourced a website to get company shirts, then saved up to upgrade our equipment. We started advertising more on NextDoor and built up an even larger following on the platform. Started utilizing Google and all of a sudden our Business was successful, and we worked almost every day over the summer. Most days, we would start work at 9 a.m. and end as late as 8 p.m.

For 2025, we decided to expand our business over the hill from Los Gatos to Santa Cruz. We now cover most of the Bay Area, and Lucas hired his dad to come out and help him on jobs. Occasionally, his sister Lilly will tag along to help the team when needed. This year, we hope to grow this business even bigger and ideally expand our company to 2 trucks and 2 sets of equipment.
